“Craftsmanship means dwelling on a task for a long time and going deeply into it, because you want to get it right.”

-Matthew B. Crawford, “Shop Class as Soulcraft: An Inquiry Into the Value of Work”

Breakwall Media, LLC is an Emmy award-winning full-service team of experienced creative professionals. We offer superior support for our clients, from concepts and planning to the highest-quality field production and finally, crafting stories that reach their intended audiences and engage them.

Breakwall Media has an extensive international production background.  Our experienced producers/videographers have worked in some of the poorest countries and most difficult conditions. We plan extensively and then prepare to adapt to any situation, whatever is necessary to capture the story we’ve set out to tell. In the past ten years, we have produced dozens of short- and long-form videos for non-profit and government organizations, traveling to Haiti, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Honduras, the Philippines and Brazil. Most recently, Breakwall Media produced video for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Ethiopia.

Breakwall Media is more than a group of “camera operators” or a “film crew.” Our mission is to “inspire engagement through creative content.” Our experience has been honed by informing and engaging domestic and international audiences online, at events and on television for more than 10 years.

Christopher Cymbalak is a video producer, shooter and editor with a background in journalism and multiple years of video experience serving corporate, NGO and governmental clients within the U.S. and abroad.

"Travel and videography are my passion, and I’ve been fortunate to take part in both. I’ve created media packages for Amnesty International spanning a variety of different human rights abuses while living in London, England. Conducted interviews and translation for Daimler Chrysler while working in Stuttgart, Germany. Trained Embassy staff on video production, editing and distribution while working in Warsaw, Poland. Produced short documentaries on internally displaced people of Uganda and Rwanda, and HIV prevention/treatment projects for the Democratic Republic of Congo. Shot and edited numerous Ambassador introductory videos, public diplomacy narratives, and event teasers and wrap up videos for President Obama and Secretary Clinton while working for the Department of State and USAID. At the same time I collaborated on multiple creative projects promoting Washington, DC and its cultural arts.

Whether I’m documenting a great story, creating a commercial, covering an event, or trying something experimental, I aim to use beautiful visuals and give the narrative a lasting voice, in order to reach the appropriate audience when working with every client."
